Had my first snowboarding experience in ireland last wkend. Off snowboarding for a couple hours back down to the car and we were home in 20 minutes. We were going to stop off in the pub on the way back in all our gear, out of instinct more than anything else, but we thought better of it. I don't think we would have been able to get any hot chocolates and rum or Glühwein! Very strange experience but very cool. Gets me thinking about going living somewhere I could do it all the time!
